Skapa sameiginlegan skilning á viðfangsefnum. Auka skilvirkni við stefnumótun, nýsköpun og efla tengslamyndun. Um er að ræða árlegan viðburð, þar sem hver og einn getur tekið þátt í ólíkum viðburðum þar sem rýnt verður í tækifæri og áskoranir, sem geta umbreytt viðhorfum og stöðu okkar.  Eins og fyrr segir er Framtíðarvikan er opin hverjum sem er sem, hvort heldur fólki úr opinbera geiranaum eða úr einkageiranum.
